Music Theatre International (MTI) is one of the world’s leading theatrical licensing agencies, granting theatres from around the world the rights to perform the greatest selection of musicals from Broadway and beyond. As a leading brand in the creative licensing industry, MTI needed their Fitzrovia workspace to reflect the amazing musicals they are involved in: unique, creative, and vibrant.

MTI worked with Zentura to scope out a design that gave each team from licensing to accounts the user-led environment they needed to thrive throughout the months and years ahead. It was important to the client that their creative brand values and identity would be reflected in the design.
The design was inspired by theatre throughout the last 100 years and some of the shows that they have been involved in, from Les Misérables to Mamma Mia. With a wide variety of working environments and a focus on ergonomics, space delivered a premium user experience.
Despite lockdown and not being able to move off-site while the project was in progress, disruption and downtime were almost eliminated through the implementation of a 5-phase project delivery plan. This enabled the team MTI to focus on the day to day running of the business.
Throughout the project delivery, close communication and high accountability were maintained through regular meetings and conversations, giving them full visibility of the project. Changing design requirements due to the pandemic were also handled effectively, giving MTI the flexibility they needed throughout the project.
This highly creative and varied 5,500 sq/ft office refurbishment project over five floors was completed on schedule to very high quality, giving Music Theatre International a unique workspace reflective of their work and culture. They now have the platform to deliver for their clients throughout the years ahead.
